Medior System & Security Engineer

As a Medior System & Security Engineer, your main role will be to react proactively and effectively when a cybersecurity attack occurs, by restoring any damaged infrastructure and strengthening security measures to prevent future attacks. You will also work closely with various teams (Security & Infrastructure) to enhance the security of our clients' infrastructures.

• Assist the CSIRT team during security incidents by implementing corrective measures to limit damage and restore infrastructure integrity.
• Propose solutions to enhance the company's security posture, mainly in the infrastructure area.
• Collaborate with different technical teams to coordinate incident response actions and ensure effective communication throughout the process.
• Thoroughly document measures taken and lessons learned to improve responsiveness for affected clients.
• Provide technical support to internal and external teams as needed, sharing expertise and providing advice.

Must-have :

• Good command of English.
• Proven experience in infrastructure, systems, or network domains.
• Communicative.
• Team-oriented: capable of working with their team and knowing where to find experts to complement their analyses.
• Open to challenges: willing to work and be challenged by incident resolution. 
• Open to new technologies: not limited to a single domain and ready to bring more efficiency to their team's work.
• Versatile: capable of working in most client environments and analyzing the most common technologies, including (but not limited to) networks (Aruba,...), firewalls (Fortinet,...), Windows environment, VMware vSphere, storage (SAN and connectivity technologies,...).

Nice-to-have:

• Bilingual NL/FR.
• Curious, eager to learn.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, routing, and firewalls (Aruba central, BGP/OSPF, Fortigate, F5,...).
• Independent knowledge of security and Windows Active Directory management, VMware environment (Aria, loginsight) core.
