Description

As a Credit Collector, your job is to manage our existing customer portfolio, in order to avoid payment arrears.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our own Adfinity accounting software.

As part of the Finance team, you'll research, assess and monitor our customers' outstanding balances and creditworthiness. And if this job appeals to you, you might as well do it in one of Belgium's Best Workplaces since 2015 ;-)

Responsibilities

Your main tasks are to: 

- Manage the existing customer portfolio, to avoid overdue payments.

- Follow up customers and take the necessary measures (by telephone, e-mail, letter) to regularize overdue payments as quickly as possible.

- Deal with late payments and intervene in cases of non-payment and partial payments.

- Actively contribute to reducing the period during which invoices remain open, and in the event of bad debts, inform and consult legal files.

- Investigate and record problems linked to non-payment of invoices.

Profile

Must-have :

  • Fluency in written and spoken French is essential for this position
  • 1st experience in credit and collections
  • Flexible, proactive and customer/service oriented.
  • Ability to effectively manage a large number of customer accounts, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to empathize and build a relationship of trust with customers
  • Enjoy communicating by telephone
  • Communicate assertively without forgetting friendliness and diplomacy
