Description

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will introduce some new privacy legislation to which companies, government and other organisations will have to comply when processing personal data.
Simply put, if your company offers services or goods to residents in the EU, the law applies. It is important to know that this regulation will become enforceable on May 25th, 2018 (on which it will become binding and applicable).

Dealing with this new regulation is not easy, at EASI we are aware of this. New actors and rights have been introduced that have to be taken into account by organisations, and there are severe consequences as a result of non-compliance. The key step is to ensure you are well-informed on what is coming towards your organisation with this new regulation. It is clear that this will have a big impact, and it is necessary to prepare for this. The saying goes: If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.

Security of your IT infrastructure plays an important role here obviously. It is crucial, both for yourself and the data subjects, that no data leak or data breach occurs.

The risks for not complying with the GDPR can become a costly affair for your organisation. Are you willing to risk these severe consequences within your organisation?

EASI approaches GDPR in a pragmatic manner as the regulation should not be implemented by the letter. We have a close look at your organisation through our GDPR workshops and guide you in the process to become GDPR compliant.

In case you desire more information regarding GDPR and what the impact will be for your organisation, do not hesitate to contact us. We are more than happy to take the time to help you on this journey.
