Scope

By visiting the EASI website or using an EASI application, hereinafter referred to as “App”, you are accepting the terms and conditions for EASI to collect, process and pass on your personal details and, if applicable, you will vouch for the fact that these terms and conditions have been passed on to everybody to whom the personal information relates and that they have been accepted by them.

The French language version of these confidentiality rules shall prevail if there is any discrepancy between this version and versions translated into other languages.

EASI reserves the right to adapt these confidentiality rules, the latest valid version of which can be viewed on the website www.easi.net, at any time.

Continuing to browse the EASI website or use the App after these confidentiality rules have been changed will imply that you have irrevocably accepted the new version.

You have the option at any time not to start or continue to browse the website or use the App if you do not accept the confidentiality rules in the version in force when you browse the site or use the App.

Information and details collected

EASI collects various information and details of a personal nature whenever you visit the website or use an EASI App.

This personal information includes the following: surname, first name, postal address, email address, landline or mobile telephone number, photo, IP address, browser and device used, website from which you were redirected to the EASI website, all the identifying details of your devices, geolocation details etc.

This information is collected by EASI for internal use (statistics, direct marketing, database updates etc.) and in order to analyse and optimise how the website and Apps function and are used.

It is protected and is not passed on to third parties, including in particular advertisers, unless your permission has been given beforehand or to deal with imminent danger, respond to an order from the legal authorities or to protect the rights of EASI as well as those of other users.

Cookies

EASI uses cookies, which are data files that are temporarily or permanently stored on your computer or your mobile device by a website server via the browser. Their purpose is to simplify, enhance and personalise use of the website and EASI Apps.

You can turn off cookies in your browser or remove stored cookies, but this may limit your ability to browse the EASI website and use the services of the EASI Apps.

Privacy

EASI undertakes to respect the provisions of the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data.

In accordance with the provisions of this law, you have the right at any time (1) to object to the processing of your information for the purposes of direct marketing, free of charge, (2) to access information about you and (3) to have this information corrected and, if applicable, removed.

You can also get in touch via the same addresses if you would like to make any comments or suggestions about the measures adopted by EASI in relation to privacy, or if you feel that these measures are inadequate.

Stored Data

Some of the EASI Apps have a functionality whereby personal information or files are stored on its servers (emails, contacts, files, content, photos etc.) as well as being published and shared.

This information and these files belong to you, subject to third party intellectual property rights that you must respect by not copying, forwarding, downloading or sharing anything without their prior consent.

It is your decision whether you share your information and files as well as being your sole responsibility, not that of EASI, who is under no circumstances responsible for the content of the information and files that are published and shared.

Your personal information and files are protected and EASI cannot disclose their content unless there is an imminent danger, to respond to an order from the legal authorities or to protect the rights of EASI as well as those of other users.
